Book Review - Brave Bess

In class, we have been given a task to read a certain book, and write a book review on it. There are different groups, and each group has a different book. Every few days, we decide where we will read up to next. My groups book is Brave Bess. Once we have finished the book, we write a book review, here is mine,

Yasmin - Book Review - Brave Bess:

Brave Bess, is a heartwarming story that tells a true story of courage and loyalty. Perfect for anybody with a sense of adventure.

A tribe of horses will show their self in various ways; but will just one stand out the MOST?

A galloping group of men and horses travel far and wide to succeed in their most desirable award. What will tear them apart? Travel a journey in this tense and gripping book. Will the Turks succeed in this most vivid book of World War I history? In my opinion, Brave Bess is a capturing book that will make you stop and wonder. What will happen next? Enjoy the thrills of excitement and depression, as a roller coaster of waves will leave you hanging. “Towards the beginning of August, an army of more than 18,000 Turks swept over the sandhills and delivered a surprise attack on Anzac outposts near Romani.” Will Bess survive? How will this affect the story?

Who do YOU think will survive? What is depending on Bess? Find out by reading Brave Bess, A true story of courage and loyalty, written by Susan Brocker.

I recommend this book to ages 8+ and would be very glad to give this book a rating of 4.5. Very well written with pleasant descriptive language.
